It should be the desire of a parent that their children become more than they themselves ever were, fearing that the desire of the children is to be like their parent. As it is with a small family, so it is with us and you, the lesser people. We watch you, guide you, teach you, and shelter you from harm, all the while hoping you grow to be more than we were. It is not until the child sees our faults, our failings, and rejects our choices that they begin to be more than we were.
Do not make the mistakes we did, children in the void. Choose your own future, learn from our wrong choices, and be more than we ever could have been.
