10/02 Mishaps and Tech Problems

Sigh…

Turns out my problems were not going to stop just because I was finally able to do something I wanted to do. Got the kids bathed and abed, set up my desk with my notes and graphs, signed on to Skype and waited for my players to arrive.

Only for my headset, the Logitech, to finally die on me after over ten years of service. The speakers crackled like mad and then I lost all audio.

Thanks for everything, headset. I’ll miss you.

On top of that, my postings from the last few days wouldn’t actually go to published and instead kept being moved to ‘draft’. Formatting problems, I think.

Unfortunately, all of this means that I couldn’t run the session last night. I’m currently shopping for a new headset and scheduling another session next weekend.

For my players, I deeply apologize and will get this fixed. For today, however, there are chores and setting up my plans/chores/meals for the week.

Time to house-spouse! Stay safe out there, readers.
