Old man is a very good dog. I don’t think he’s ever figured out that if he stopped being overly excited about getting pets and scratches, he’d get them sooner.
Took him two minutes of frantic moving before I could scratch that spot behind his ears, then he finally stopped and made doggy-noises of approval.
